After I had my daughter in 2022, I wanted to find a way to work with the people who get it — the ones weaving their own creative, fulfilling careers alongside an equally creative and fulfilling family life.

Which is why I approach copywriting a little bit differently in The Copyshop.

Of course, I can do done-for-you copy, taking your wild scribbled ideas, unfinished Google Docs drafts and rambling midnight VoiceNotes off your plate and into my virtual studio to whip up gorgeous, narrative-driven copy.

But I also give fellow small and solo business owners the confidence to write their own stories, with workbooks and workshops that guide you step-by-step through the process, co-writing sessions to keep you accountable, and (always kind!) critiques and 1:1s, with actionable edits and suggestions.

I’ve written words online in some capacity since 2014, first as a blogger, then as a content marketer, a freelance copywriter, an essayist, and a trained journalist.

Now I put all that experience to good use, helping small business owners tell their own stories, from my virtual writer’s studio in Yorkshire.
